Microsoft Announcement: Windows 10 notification - “Your device has reached the end of service”

Support for Windows 10 Home will end in April 2025. After April 24th, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Updates for Windows 10.Due to which, you will not be able to receive security updates directly to your computer. Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11. NOTE: If you have windows 10 extended support, we can help you to upgrade to latest windows 10 updates and you will continue to receive new updates.

NOTE: Windows 10 Professional updates last till October 2025.

Your Windows 10 device might show you a notification indicating your device needs an update. Here’s what you need to know if you see this message: “Your device has reached the end of service. Here’s how you can ensure continued support.”

Why am I seeing this notification?

You’re seeing this notification because your version of Windows 10 is out of service. Windows attempted to update this device several times, but it hasn’t received an update in a significant amount of time.
